Who we are

Unbillable Ltd ("Unbillable", "we", "us") provides AI tools assessments to professional services firms in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@unbillable.co.uk.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, firm, email and phone number, when you book an assessment or get in touch.
• Assessment content — the recording, transcript and notes from your discovery call, and information you share about your firm's operations.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe, via Cal.com). We do not store your card details.
• Website usage — basic, privacy-respecting analytics if enabled, and any messages you send our chat assistant.

How we use it

To deliver your assessment and report, to arrange and take payment, to respond to enquiries, and to send you material you've asked for. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (delivering the assessment), your consent (marketing you opt into), and our legitimate interests (running and improving the service).

Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the service — our scheduling tool, payment processor, AI note-taker, and email provider — each under their own data-processing terms. We never sell your data, and recommendations in your report are made on merit alone: we hold no reseller agreements and take no commissions.

How long we keep it

Assessment recordings and transcripts are kept only as long as needed to deliver and support your report, then deleted. Invoicing records are retained for the period required by UK tax law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
